A content shoot will always reveal what kind of team dynamic you really have. Why? Because the conditions are perfect for stress, nerves, and tension.
Here’s what gets tested 🔬
- 30 or more people with different opinions and preferences
- 40 plus videos to shoot, each with multiple takes
- Most staff are doing this for the first time, reading scripts on camera and feeling nervous
- It’s not a normal workday. How do people interact when routines are off?
- The bosses asked everyone to do this. Are they leading by example or just watching?
And here’s what I witnessed at Perfect Smiles 🧪
- Nervous staff got encouragement from their teammates. People cheered each other on between takes
- Everyone respected the shoot plan and schedule. That only happens when leadership clearly communicates why it matters
- You could feel the genuine friendships. People clearly care about each other and hang out outside of work
- The bosses were rockstars. Morning pep talk, lunchtime pep talk, wrap-up thank you. They organized lunch and showed up in every video
What came out of it
✅ A full 12 months of video content
✅ And a great reminder for me that I get to work with some of the most calm, collected, and kind pros in the industry
